Ich habe mir gedacht, ich schreibe hier einfach ein paar Fragen (die ich zusammengesucht habe & die mir sehr viel gebracht haben) zusammen.

Vielleicht sind ja ein paar dabei, die du brauchen kannst :)

About your duties:

• What kind of rules would you ask an Au pair to follow? (Curfew, paying gas, over night stays, ...)
• Are there other household rules?
• Will I be responsible for any household duties that relate to the children? (Laundry, cooking, ...)
• What kind of activities will you expect me to do with the children?
• What will my schedule be like?
• Could you explain more about hof often your schedules change?

About the area:

• Are there other families with children nearby?
• Do relatives live nearby?
• What things are there to do with the children near the house?
• Are there other Au pairs in the area?
• What kind of study opportunities are offered in your area?

About the children:

• What are their personalities like?
• What are the childrens hobbies?
• How far away is kindergarten/ preschool/ school?
• How do the children feel about a new Au pair joining the family?
• Do the children have andy allergies/ illnesses I need to know? 
• Do the kids have special eating habits?

About the parents:

• What kind of relationship do you wish to have with your Au pair?
• What does 'being a family member' mean to you?
• What qualities do you find important in an Au pair?
• How do you like your Area Director?
• Are your weekends busy too or are they more relaxed?
• Why have you chosen to host au pairs?
• Do you have experiences with babysitters/au pairs?
• Could you please describe yourself?

Other:

• Are you an active family?
• Does the family sit down togheter for meals?
• How do you solve problems with your children?
• How do you react if the kids fight with each other?
• How will the first days look like?
• Would you drive around with me and show me important places?
• Would you help me to open a bank account?
• How do you celebrate special holidays such like as Christmas, New Years Eve, Thanksgiving, ...
• What would be my date of arrival?
• How often will I be expected to babysit in the evenings?
• Which days and evenings will I have off?
• Will I have your own room?
